Welcome to Hawkinge Community Centre – serving the local community. We are open seven days a week and present a varied programme of events, clubs and social events for all ages. Hawkinge Baptist Church and the offices of Hawkinge Town Council are also located at the Centre. We have rooms for hire to suit all types of events. Drop in for a coffee and a snack and see what we have to offer. Please check the menus above for all our regular and special events or contact us for more details.
Anyone who attended will agree that the Wrestling event in March was a great and exciting night out – if you missed it you have another chance as the next Wrestival bout will be here at the Centre on May 16th featuring Tiger Ali and Doug Williams in the main bout. Doors open at 18:30 and as usual accompanied kids come free (conditions apply). Further details here
Looking a bit further ahead we are hosting the Shepway Military Modelling Society Summer Show on Saturday 6th June. Check the Special Events menu for further details.

Many of the most popular attractions will be back too including the UK Strongest Man competition, Hawking Falconry display team, History Blooms Long Bow team and many more. We will keep you posted as news comes in but put the date in your diary now – 19th July 2015.
Latest News on the Summer Spectacular
The Blue Falcons Gymnastic Display Team are now confirmed for the day! The Blue Falcons are justifiably famous for a list of feats and achievements too long to list but they include entries in the Guinness Book of Records, appearances at the Royal Tournament and at Chatham and Portsmouth Navy days and numerous TV appearances. There is hardly a thing they cannot vault over or through – each other, hoops of fire and even their own minibus. Don’t miss the chance to be wowed by them on Hawkinge Green.
